As AI platforms continue to improve, the value they offer to travel companies is steadily rising. I’m sure you’ve heard the buzz – AI tools can decrease your workload, boost your efficiency and save you time – but discussions about AI can sometimes feel daunting. If you’re finding it hard to wrap your head around, but want to reap the benefits of AI, we have just the thing…
In this 4 minute clip, three travel industry insiders share how they use AI on a daily basis to simplify manual tasks. From effortless itinerary creation to seamless image selection, embracing AI has never been simpler. Watch the full video now to hear Keith Crockford (The Bucket List Company), Robin Weber Pollack (Journeys International) and Stephan Nedregaard (Vamoos) share their secrets:
In the clip, Keith Crockford from The Bucket List Company explained how he uses Typing Mind to create exceptional itinerary content. The handy AI platform can write in a style tailored to a specific brand profile or tone of voice, making it easier than ever to create engaging copy for your clients. In his example, Keith tasked Typing Mind with detailing a Nepalese trek in the brand style of his adventure travel company. Within seconds, it responded with an engaging narrative for him to review.
As Keith pointed out, Typing Mind is an immensely useful platform, but it’s always worth reviewing the writing produced by AI, as it still has the potential to make mistakes. You can also tweak the copy to fit your preferences, by asking AI to make your writing more concise, for example, or to add in additional details. Watch the full video here…
Robin Weber Pollack from Journeys International highlighted the usefulness of Grammarly when crafting travel itineraries in Vamoos. She showed how helpful the AI tool could be when refining a DMC proposal from a non-native English speaker. After receiving the DMC’s day description, Robin submitted the writing to Grammarly, from directly within the Vamoos Storyboard, and in just a few seconds, it produced a highly detailed alternative.
As Robin demonstrated, Grammarly is an exceptional itinerary assistant, as it can seamlessly convert shorthand notes into error-free English, and transform simple drafts into engaging itinerary descriptions, personalised to each traveller. Watch the full video here…

Returning with even more helpful advice, Keith from The Bucket List Company shared another of his favourite AI platforms; SheetGPT. As Keith demonstrated, from just a simple prompt, like ‘Gorilla trekking in Uganda,’ SheetGPT was able to populate an entire excel table with social media content, suited to countless different formats; Facebook, Tiktok – you name it. The intuitive AI even included emojis and relevant hashtags that Keith could use to take his social media presence to the next level. Watch the full video here…
Stephan Nedregaard, Vamoos’ CTO, showcased Imsert, an AI-powered image selection tool which operates in the Vamoos Storyboard. Imsert simplifies how you add pictures to your itineraries, by making image suggestions that relate to the content of your writing. As Stephan began typing the prompt ‘ascend table mountain’, the time-saving tool automatically suggested relevant images which related directly to his itinerary description.
Stephan explained that Imsert’s suggestions are influenced by previous uploads from your image library, and noted that there’s even an integration with Unsplash, so you can choose from a stunning selection of royalty-free photos. Gone are the days of browsing endlessly in search of the perfect picture; itinerary creation has never been simpler! Watch the full video here…
